About the Journal

Chief Editor: Assistant professor Radhwan Mohammed Hussein

The Medical Journal of ahl al-Bayt University was found in the year 2022 by Ahl al-Bayt University (Kerbala, IRAQ). The aim of the journal is to publish research in the Medical Sciences and other related disciplines.                     
A newly submitted manuscript is handled by the editorial board of the journal and sent to three specialist evaluators. Remarks of the evaluators are sent back to the author for correction before the decision of acceptance. 

1. The Medical Journal of Ahl al-Bayt University is an open-access journal.
2. The Article Processing Charge (APC) is free.
3. There's no submission charge.

Aim and Scope

The Medical Journal of Ahl al-Bayt University (mjaabu) is an annual peer-reviewed academic scientific journal. Papers are subjected to academically acknowledged evaluations by experts at home and abroad. MJAABU is published by Ahl Al-Bayt University in Iraq. MJAABU  seeks to promote knowledge on the various topics of medical Sciences.  

Peer reviewing

A newly submitted manuscript is handled by the editorial board and subjected to a peer-review process by three anonymous specialist reviewers from Iraqi universities. The manuscript will be given a conditional acceptance for publication when two or three of the reviewers give a positive response. This manuscript is sent back to the author for revising and accounting for all reviewers’ remarks. Final acceptance is given when a revised version of the manuscript is received by the journal editorial board and approved by the reviewers. The manuscript is rejected when two or three reviewers initially give negative response, and a rejection letter is sent to the author.
